Donald Roos

Donald Roos

Donald Roos is a creative entrepreneur based in Amsterdam (the Netherlands). Trained as a (typo-)graphic designer at the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague, he sets up and runs projects with other professionals from different fields. Like many creatives, he has too much to do and too many ideas, so he came up with the ToDontList method.

Together with co-writer Anne de Bruijn, he previously published Don’t Read This Book — Time Management for Creative People (30.000 copies, translated into seven languages) and Don’t Buy This Book — Entrepreneurship for Creative People. Their latest book is If You Don’t — Economics for Creative People / Saving the World by Doing Nothing. They also developed the thought experiment game called Don’t/Do This.

Based on his ToDon’tList philosophy, Donald strongly believes that limitations stimulate creativity. Whether it is time management or saving the world, making choices not to do something can be very effective. Deciding not to do everything, but making choices about what is really essential, defines your identity and your projects. It makes you stand out from the crowd. This is what you will learn in the course.

Elio Salichs

Elio Salichs

Elio Salichs is the son of a graphic designer. Driven by a desire to do something different, he initially studied Humanities at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona. However, two years later, he found himself studying graphic design. Graduating in 1999, he completed a Master’s in Advanced Typography and built a ten-year career as an Art and Creative Director across various studios and agencies. In 2010, he decided to forge his own path; it was during the Design Werkstatt courses that he connected with Martin Lorenz and Lupi Asensio (founders of TwoPoints.net). Since then, he has coordinated and executed projects for TwoPoints.Net Barcelona’s office. In parallel with his professional practice, he has built a solid teaching profile focused on editorial design and visual identity, with a particular focus on flexible visual systems. He has taught and delivered talks and workshops at different schools and universities, with international activity in Spain, Italy, France, Germany, and the Dominican Republic.

Menno de Bruijn

Menno de Bruijn

Menno de Bruijn is a designer and creative director based in The Hague, and co-founder of the Dutch Design Award-winning studio Lennarts & De Bruijn. For over a decade he has built visual identities, campaigns, and art direction for clients across museums, music, fashion, and sports.

He works hands-on through the whole process, from first sketch to final execution, and treats every project as its own problem rather than a chance to repeat a signature style. His approach is concept-first: he designs rules and systems — frameworks flexible enough to carry a single idea across any medium — held together by simplicity, recognizability, and a sense of play.

Ricardo Lodroño

Ricardo Lodroño

Ricardo Lodroño is a graphic designer and creative technologist working at the intersection of visual design, systems thinking, and code. His practice focuses on visual identities and brand systems conceived as flexible frameworks, combining strong graphic foundations with parametrization, component-based thinking, and rule-driven design.

With a background spanning graphic design, creative coding, and front-end development, Ricardo is particularly interested in how methodologies from software development—such as abstraction, reuse, and scalability—can inform contemporary graphic design workflows without sacrificing expressiveness or visual intent.

Alongside his professional practice, he is deeply engaged in research, self-directed learning, and teaching on flexible visual systems, design tools, and the evolving role of the hybrid designer.

Sara Londoño

Sara Londoño

Sara Londoño is a shape designer working with form and structure to create visuals that make complex ideas simple and direct. Her practice explores form as a way of thinking, not just appearance. She cares deeply about substance, focusing on what is essential in her graphics in order to make space for meaning.
With a background in industrial and interaction design, she is interested in functionality, systems, and how people engage with objects and environments. This perspective informs her approach to illustration and graphic design, where meaning is not fixed but suggested, allowing space for interpretation and reflection, and opening a dialogue between the work and the viewer.
She is interested in how structure and simplicity can coexist with expression, and how restraint in form can still allow for emotional and conceptual depth within visual work.
